Shinya Katayama

Profile

Shinya Katayama joined Mizuho Securities in 2010. After completing his MBA, he joined SPARX Asset Management in 2020, where he focused on startup investments through the Mirai Creation Fund and a joint fund with PKSHA Technology. In 2022, he joined Woven Planet Holdings (now Woven by Toyota), where he helped launch an incubation program and support new business initiatives. In 2025, he took a joint appointment at Toyota Motor Corporation where he contributed to the establishment of Toyota Invention Partners. He has served in his current role since October of that year. Outside of work, he enjoys wine, and holds J.S.A. Wine Expert certification.
