Profile
Motokazu Suwa joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 2007. Within the Accounting Division, he worked on cost planning, hybrid vehicle business strategy, financial closing and earnings forecasting, and projects to enhance management reporting systems. In 2020, he was seconded to TRI-AD (Toyota Research Institute – Advanced Development; now Woven by Toyota) where he was responsible for finance initiatives related to corporate restructuring and the Woven City project. He later contributed to the establishment of Toyota Invention Partners. Outside of work, he enjoys driving and cycling.
