Masayuki Shimizu joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 2009, where he was responsible for cash management, funding, and investment operations in the Finance Division. In 2017, he was seconded to SPARX Asset Management, where he worked as a public equity analyst and was involved in investments in renewable energy power plants as well as startup investments through the Mirai Creation Fund. In 2021, he joined Woven Planet Holdings (now Woven by Toyota), where he contributed to the establishment of Toyota Invention Partners. He has served in his current role since October 2025. Outside of work, he enjoys music and working out.
