Katsunobu Yamada joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 2005. After gaining broad experience in human resources, he served as a manager on a company-wide team driving organizational and HR system reforms, where he focused on revising executive competency frameworks and compensation systems. In 2021, he was seconded to Woven Planet Holdings (now Woven by Toyota), where he led the project management team for Woven City. In this role, he was responsible for shaping Toyota Motor Corporation’s Mobility 3.0 business strategy—focused on the social implementation of products developed in Woven City—and for establishing Toyota Invention Partners as Toyota’s strategic investment platform. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities with friends and watching sports.
