Daisuke Toyoda received a bachelor's degree from Keio University and an MBA from Babson College. He worked in Toyota Motor Corporation’s Electronic Control Engineering Division, where he played a key role in organizational changes to optimize software-driven development. As one of the founding members of TRI-AD (Toyota Research Institute – Advanced Development), now Woven by Toyota, he was behind building an innovative work environment that enhanced focus on productivity, efficiency and impact through information-sharing tools. Currently, Daisuke serves as Head of the Woven City project, a test course for mobility where products and services that address everyday societal challenges are co-created with society. He is Senior Vice President of Woven by Toyota and Operating Officer at Toyota Invention Partners. He is also known as the CLO (Chief Lunch Officer) because he is often exploring new foods and tastes. His personal motto is to enjoy what he refers to as the “before taste, middle taste, and aftertaste" in all things.
